Main Street has long been known for its great Music Ministry. Music sets the tone and mood for worship, joins us as a community, and provides opportunity for expression of our deepest feelings of joy, celebration and remembrance.

Our music ministry includes:

God’s Kids (Preschool-Grade 5)

Sundays 10:15-10:45 am and also during Wonderful Wednesdays

Joyful Noise (Grades 6-9)

Wednesdays 6:00-6:45 pm

Caritas (Grades 8-12)

Sundays 5:15-6:00 pm

Handbell Music

This has been a part of Main Street’s ministry since 1978 when Edith Dollins and Charlene Plunkett formed the first handbell choir. Currently we have three handbell groups. Donald Dollins is our Handbell Choir Director. With the exception of holidays, the choirs meet weekly from September through May for practice, and play a variety of religious and secular music.

Genesis Choir

The beginning handbell choir is for sixth graders and up. The choir practices every Sunday afternoon at 5:30 pm., and plays in church three or four times a year.

Handbell Choir

The handbell choir, was formed in 1981. The choir plays in local schools, nursing homes, other churches, and at the Frontier Museum. They practice every Wednesday morning at 9:00 am.

Master Peace Ringers

This is a mixed choir, perform regularly during church services. They practice every Sunday afternoon at 4:30 pm.
